The Yummiest Most Natural Way To Gain Energy + Giveaway

**I received a four free Chia Energy Beverages for my review. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be a good fit for my readers. All opinions are 100% my own.

I jumped on the Chia Seed bandwagon about a year ago because of all the health benefits. These little seeds are packed with Omega-3s, fiber, protein and antioxidants. I love that when they are put in liquids they plump up and can make amazing overnight oatmeal and some delicious pudding. They can also be sprinkled on top of foods for a nutty texture or put into smoothies.

When I think of chia seeds I think of Mamma Chia which is a conscious and sustainable company that wants to share the magic of chia seeds. They offer products made with chia seeds like their vitality beverages and chia squeeze in many delicious flavors.

Now Mamma Chia has branched out and created an Organic Energy Beverage. It combines the nutrition of chia seeds, the clean evergy of guayusa and the delicious taste of fruit juices. Guayusa has a unique balance of caffeine, antioxidants and vitamins while delivering energy without the jitters that coffee, soda or other energy beverages can give.

The Organic Energy Beverages comes in:
  • Blackberry Blast
  • Cherry Charge
  • Grape Power
  • Raspberry Razz
Aside from the super cool names they all tasted delicious! I drank them in the morning and noticed myself having an extra little pep in my step. I got back on my exercise groove this week and the Mamma Chia Energy Beverages really did give me that extra boost of energy to get my exercise equipment out everyday. Five days straight of exercise done so far!

You can find the Mamma Chia Organic Energy Beverages in select retailers including Whole Foods, Safeway and Target. Click on Mamma Chia to learn more about their other products.

Healthy Cacao Dark Chocolate Coconut Chia Pudding

I have been substituting healthier ingredients into my old recipes like agave syrup for white sugar and almond milk for whole milk. I recently got a chance to try Cacao powder so I decided to create a healthy chocolate pudding out of it.

Cacao powder is so much better for you than just cocoa powder. Pure Natural Cacao is an Antioxidant Superfood Rich in Magnesium, Potassium, Iron, Copper & other Nutrients that can help keep you healthy. The minerals & flavonoids in Freedom Superfoods is highly alkalizing so it can help with sleep and energy. Some people who have tried the Cacao powder have noticed a decrease in appetite.

Healthy Dark Chocolate Coconut Chia Pudding

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 cup light coconut milk
  • 3 tblsp cacao powder
  • 16 drops liquid Stevia
  • 1/4 chia seed
  • pinch of sea salt
  • 1 tsp agave syrup
  • coconut flakes (optional: for garnish)
Directions:
  1. Mix all of the ingredients except for the coconut flakes and agave syrup. I use a mason jar, cover it and shake it to mix.
  2. Place in the refridgerator for at least 6 hours.
  3. Drizzle in agave and mix. If you want it thicker place back in the fridge and let sit longer.
  4. Divide into two dessert cups and sprinkle with coconut flakes to garnish.

The Freedom SuperFoods Cacao powder is delivered in a heavy-duty, re-sealable stand-up pouch. This makes it easy to store and doesn't take up much space. Also helps your cacao stay fresh. When you order now, know that you're protected by a 60 day, no questions ask money back guarantee - even if you return the pouch completely empty. You can purchase your own bag of cacao powder on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/cacao-powder-raw-organic-non-fermented/dp/b00ho22m2g/
