How I Am Getting Fit in 2016

*I received the product below free for my review. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be a good fit for my readers. All opinions are 100% my own.

I am almost four months into my weight loss journey and am now ready to fit in a really structured exercise program. I tried one before this one but it was pretty advanced and I probably just wasn't ready. Four months in I can walk long distances without back problems and have the stamina to do so much more. It is amazing what over 40 pounds lost will do for your body. Now that I have the nutrition and daily activity down I want to focus on getting cardio and toning in.

The Fé Fit Women's Workout Program is the perfect way for me to start a planned daily workout routine. Following a keto diet and doing some strength training workouts is the the perfect way for my weight loss to continue. Now that my body is used to the way I eat I don't want my weight loss to slow down so this is the perfect time to incorporate some exercise.

I was so excited to get my Fé Fit program in the mail. It came in a really pretty hot pink box with everything I needed to start the program. I got the instructional booklets, a 21-day calendar exercise plan, stickers to mark down my completed workouts and the awesome DVDs. I love that the program includes 7 different genres of exercises so I won't get bored doing the same thing. I was also happy to see that I had all the equipment I needed to get started. You are going to need some light weights, a yoga mat, resistance band and pilates ring.

There are different programs to choose from and I decided to start the 4 times a week program. I like that you get two rest days and that you can choose to walk or jog on another one of the days. The best part of the workouts are that they are only 30 minutes long! I did the start-up DVD that prepares you for the workouts and I have to say that I am excited to start this 90-Day Challenge.

How are you planning to stay active this year?

Clever Yoga Balance Pad

**I received the product below free for my review. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be a good fit for my readers. All opinions are 100% my own.

I do yoga at least once a week and usually on Sundays. I do the very basic yoga poses and watch YouTube beginner videos when I do it. I also use yoga blocks to help when I don't have a long enough reach or need help with stability. It really helps me relax and is a nice change from cardio or my walking exercise.

I have been wanting to improve on my stability so it was the perfect opportunity to review the Clever Yoga Balance Pad. It is a large and super thick pad that can help with your balance, core muscles, yoga training and advanced yoga training.

I first used it by sitting on the pad with my legs crossed. It felt really nice to just sit on it with my back straight while I closed my eyes and meditated. It took a little bit of core muscle to be able to sit straight. Then I started using it to help with my balance and stability. I used the following video and worked on the different exercises little by little.

I have been doing this video a few times a week for three weeks and have noticed a difference in my balance. I am usually a clumsy person and have noticed that I haven't tripped or lost my balance once. This helps when I constantly have to catch myself from falling with all the little toys my toddler leaves on the floor.

Now that I am comfortable doing the first video I will be incorporating some of the steps and moves shown in the following video. I have also started using it as a knee pad when I have to do certain exercises that require you to be on your knees for a long period.

Youphoria Yoga Mats Review

I finally did Yoga this weekend and loved how relaxed it made me feel. I have wanted to start doing Yoga on Sundays just to give me some time to relax and stretch out while also working out. I tried doing it on top of my area rug before but that wasn't so comfortable. I finally got through a whole 30 minute yoga workout with the help of my Youphoria Yoga Mat!

The first thing I noticed about the Youphoria Yoga Mat was that it didn't have a chemical odor to it. About a year ago I bought one from a discount store and threw it away soon after because I didn't like how it smelled. It was also pretty thin and didn't have much cushion to it. The Youphoria mat is really thick and dense so I felt a nice cushion even on my tailbone as I rolled up.

The grip on the Youphoria mat is also super tight as I didn't feel any slippage even when my palms were sweaty. I felt like the super thick mat and the extra grip really helped me complete the 30 minute workout. When I tried a few times before I gave up within 5 minutes because I just wasn't comfortable. This mat really helped and I feel like it is great for beginners just like me.

The Youphoria yoga mats are 24" x 72" and 1/4" (6mm) thick. It is made of high density memory foam that helps you stabilize your hands and feet during yoga poses or workouts and gives joint relief without losing balance. It is also eco-friendly, SGS Approved and free from Phthalates.

You can learn more about the Youphoria Yoga Mat and order one for yourself on Amazon.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
