JC Penny Okie Dokie and The Good Dinosaur Screening

We were invited to attend attend theMOMs JC Penny Okie Dokie and Good Dinosaur Screening Event. We received an article of clothing from Okie Dokie. All opinions are 100% my own.

"What if the asteroid that forever changed life on Earth missed the planet completely and giant dinosaurs never became extinct?" The Good Dinosaur movie answers that question with a story about the world of dinosaurs were an Apatosaurus named Arlo and a human named Spot meet. Spot helps Arlo face his fears and truly become the dinosaur he is meant to be.

Before we got to go see the movie we got to check out the newest additions of Okie Dokie kids clothes from JC Penny. My daughter quickly eyed the rack full of sparkly tutu's! They had two beautiful colors to choose from and the lights really brought out all of the glitter in the skirts. Also embellishing the skirt was a silver glittery elastic and glittery snowflakes. We also got to see some cute sweaters and pants for boys with the Good Dinosaur characters all over.

After she got to put on the tutu and model it in front of the big Arlo picture we went into the screening room. I was surprised that she sat and watched the whole thing! She is usually engaged and watching a movie only for the first half of it until we saw this one. As an adult I enjoyed it too. The sound effects and scenery were beautiful. The story was engaging for both a child and adult. I love the friendship that both Arlo and Spot have. Even though Spot doesn't talk in the movie it is great how he can still communicate with Arlo. In this stage of being a toddler they can be scared of many things so I love how this movie helps show that you can face your fears.

The MOMs Aladdin Diamond Edition Release MAMARAZZI® event

**My family and I were invited to the Moms Aladdin Diamond Edition Release MAMARAZZI® event. All opinions are 100% my own.

A few weeks ago I decided to pick Princess Jasmine as my daughter's costume this year when she was indecisive on which princess she wanted to be. I picked Jasmine because she is the princess that most resembles my daughter. It was a happy coincidence when I was invited to the Aladdin Diamond Edition Release Mamarazzi event. They asked that the kids come dressed as their favorite Aladdin character so I was so happy that the costume was almost done.

Of we went to West 23rd Street to the Bow Tie Cinemas to watch a screening and then chat with the voices of Aladdin and Jasmine, Scott Weigner and Linda Larkin. As soon as we got there is was cute seeing all the other little girls dressed as Jasmine. My daughter proudly walked around with the Jasmine costume I finished just in time.

Into the screen room we went to watch Aladdin. It is so much fun to have a little girl who is just as much a Disney Princess fan as I am. I remember when Aladdin was first released in 1992 and I went to go see it as a 13 year old. We have all of the Disney Princess DVDs so my daughter has watched it hundreds of times but it was so special watching it on a big movie screen with her.

I brought along my nephew and mom and I was kind of nervous that my nephew who is 5, would react badly to seeing a Disney Princess movie. He loved watching it and thought that Aladdin and the Genie were pretty cool. I love that Aladdin can be a boy movie too.

After the movie we got to ask Scott Weigner and Linda Larkin questions. I was surprised to hear that they read all of the script of movie before the cartoon was drawn. Scott Weigner also mentioned that he took "DJ" (Full House) on her first date to see Aladdin.

The Aladdin Diamond Edition Release features a deleted song "Proud of Your Boy", movie secrets, games and more. Available to purchase on October 13, 2015.

Cinderella, Frozen Fever and #2MagicalMinutes with OralB

Thanks to The MOMs and OralB for inviting me to an exclusive screening of Frozen Fever and Cinderella. All opinions are 100% my own.

Cinderella was my favorite movie growing up. I remember my sister and I watching the VHS we had over and over. We watched it so much that we could repeat almost the entire movie and songs word for word. When I saw that they were remaking the movie I knew I had to see it! My daughter loves all of the Princesses so every time she saw the Cinderella commercial she yelled "Cinderella! I wanna see it in the movies!"

My daughter is Disney Princess obsessed and it all started with the Frozen movie. Anna is her favorite Princess and at any given minute you will see her with her little Anna doll in her hand. I cringe at the thought of that doll ever getting lost so I have a spare that she doesn't know about! :) It was quite fitting when I saw the they were showing the Frozen Fever short film right before the Cinderella movie.

When I got the email for The MOMs to attend an exclusive screening of the Cinderella movie I was super excited and knew I had to take my mom and daughter along with me. The girls were asked to dress in their favorite princess attire so I dressed up my toddler with her Belle tiara.

Before the screening we got to attend a little reception held by OralB. They showed us their amazing Disney Magic Timer app which I was very familiar with. When I was searching for tips on how to get a toddler to enjoy brushing their teeth everyone said to get the Disney Magic Timer. I tried it out and I have not had to fight once with my toddler about brushing her teeth ever since. With the app you enter the profile, scan the toothbrush and it will show you a #2MagicalMinutes clip of their favorite character on a smartphone or tablet.

OralB just came out with a line of Frozen toothbrushes and toothpaste so my toddler was thrilled to see them on the packaging. We got a nice little gift bag with some Frozen toothpaste and toothbrush.

After the reception into the movie theatre we went to watch the Frozen Fever Short Movie. All of the little girls and parents were glued to the screen. It was really cute and the song was amazing. I can't wait to see Frozen 2.

Then came the main attraction and we got to see the magical Cinderella movie. I loved how close to the animated movie it was and how beautiful the costumes and backgrounds were. My toddler enjoyed the movie so much that she actually sat still and really watched it. My mom and I both enjoyed the movie too so it was a win-win for all of us.

The Frozen Fever and Cinderella movies are playing right now at your favorite theater so make sure you go out and see it! You can learn more about the Disney Magic Timer and OralB's new products here.
