Taylor Bluetooth Body Fat Smart Scale

**I received the product below free for my review. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be a good fit for my readers. All opinions are 100% my own.

The Taylor Bluetooth Body Fat Smart Scale has to be the coolest scale I have ever used. I have reviewed countless scales and the Taylor is the one that has every feature that I have wanted in a scale. When using the scale you first set up a profile with a free app called SmarTrack that you just download onto you smartphone. You put in all of your statistics like age, height, activity level, etc. According to your weight it will tell you how many calories you can eat to maintain the weight. Once you lose weight it lowers your calories needed. By just eating less then the calories recommended it is a great start towards the path to weight loss.

After you create your profile with the app you then set up your smartphone to get paired with the bluetooth on the scale. After you are all set up your weight and other stats will be automatically sent to your phone. Before having a smart scale I was always writing down my weekly weight on pieces of paper that I always lost. This is the perfect way to keep track of weekly weigh-ins especially if you are on a long weight loss journey like me.

Not only does it have a great app that keeps track of your information, bluetooth capabilities to automatically send data, but it is also a Body Fat scale. It tracks your weight, body fat, body water and muscle mass. I feel that it is important to track more than just a weight number. Sometimes you won't have a good scale number even though you worked hard so seeing a change in fat or muscle percentage can definitely keep you on track.

I like to keep track of what I eat with the myfitnesspal app so I love that you can connect it to the Taylor Bluetooth Body Fat Smart Scale. It's great to be able to keep all of my stats in one place so that I can quickly look at things an adjust them if I have to. The scale can also connect to the RunKeeper and mapmyfitness apps.

SURPAHS Auto Recognition Body Fat Scale

I received a scale for a review however all opinions are 100% my own.

I know some people don't like to weigh themselves but it helps keep me accountable. Sometimes I will weigh myself right before getting the urge to go out and eat something not so healthy. When I see that I have lost something it prevents me from eating that unhealthy urge.

There were times that I was good all week and exercised and walked a lot and didn't have a great number on the scale. I always said maybe I gained some muscle. Muscle does weigh more than fat. It was perfect timing when I got to review the Surpahs Body Fat Scale. I was excited to get to measure my body fat to see if I really did gain some muscle! The scale measures five fitness indicators: Body Fat, Water, Muscle, Bone & Weight.

According to the Surpah's website, "The Precision Pro Digital Body Fat & Water Scale uses bio-electrical impedance analysis to identify the various components of your body, and calculates the percentage of each one. It works because fat, water, etc., all have different levels of resistance to a small electrical current sent through your body. This current is not perceptible and is completely safe."

Unlike other scales where you just have to pick a user number the Surpahs scale stores personal data like gender, age, height and activity level to give you a more accurate measurement. The cool thing about the scale is that it remembers who you are. You just step on the scale without having to take the time to pick your user profile. It stores data for 8 users so you can use it with the whole family!

I also love how nice and sleek the scale is. It has an 11.5" x 11.5" platform so it is easy to stand on. Some scales aren't as wide and it can be difficult to use if you are overweight.  The LED display is huge so it is easy to see the numbers. I also love that the scale automatically turns on when you step on it so you don't need to tap and wait.

When I learned my body fat percentage I was pretty shocked at how high it was. It definitely motivated me to start weight training. I am looking forward to seeing that percentage go down!

If you are looking for a body fat scale with some superior features I highly recommend this one. You can purchase your own scale on Amazon.

4 Months and 3 Months Down and the Weight Gurus Smartphone Connected Scale Motivating Me

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

Weigh In: I gained 3.8 pounds bringing my total down to 45 pounds. I had another bad week and really don't have any excuse for it. I just got through a super busy blogging month and my daughter's birthday and just wanted to relax. I am actually surprised I didn't gain more in the past two weeks with the way I have been eating and the lack of formal exercise.

Nutrition: I really wanted to complete the Skinny Jane diet but really wasn't motivated. It first started with the left over cupcakes and food from my daughter's birthday party. Then I went out a lot and had food outside. I also went to my best friend's birthday party on Saturday and her birthday dinner on Sunday. I ate a lot and very badly.

Exercise: I didn't go out to the gym or get any strength training in.

I really need to get that motivation back that I had early on. Weight Gurus Smartphone Digital Connected Bathroom Scale seems to be getting me back there. I have been using it for a week now and had to write my review early because I think it is so cool! During past weight loss journey's I just wouldn't weigh myself after a bad week because I didn't want to see the number. I actually wanted to weigh myself this week because I wanted to see how much I gained. I wanted to see it so that I could stop that weight gain from getting bigger. I want to see a minus number on the weightless scale so bad that it is motivating me to want to do good this week.

The Weight Gurus scale is a cool, thin, sleek glass scale with a huge back lit display. I love that it gives you the option of seeing weight change or weight number. The coolest  feature is that after you weigh yourself the display shows a code that your smartphone can scan. After your smartphone scans the code it saves your weight and makes all kinds of graphs that you use to track your progress.

Before the Weight Gurus Scale I was getting the weight from my old scale, entering the number on the notes app of my smartphone and then calculating the weight change. This is so much easier because it does all the work for you.
