Pineapple Coconut Matcha Yogurt Pops

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

As the weather is getting nice and warm I decided to take out my pop maker and create a healthy tropical pop with some matcha in it.

I love matcha because of the many health benefits. It is high in antioxidant, helps with your complexion and is said to be a metabolism booster. I have tried green tea matcha so I was super curious when I got to try the White Matcha from Red Leaf Tea. White Matcha is a lot milder in taste and has sort of a floral taste. If you don't like the grassy-ness strong taste of green matcha you may like the taste of the White Matcha better.

Pineapple Coconut Matcha Yogurt Pops
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tsp White Matcha
  • 1 cup almond coconut milk (you can also use coconut milk)
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup pineapple
  • 1 tblsp coconut oil
  • 6 drops of liquid Stevia (you can also use honey or agave nectar to your taste)

  1. Boil water. Place matcha into a mug and pour boiling water over  and mix well.
  2. Place all of the ingredients into a small blender and blend until smooth.
  3. Carefully pour into pop maker and freeze.
Makes 8 pops.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

You can also use the white matcha in a yummy latte! Just boil 1/4 cup of water. Add 1 tsp of white match to a mug. Pour water over. Heat up some almond milk and pour into mug with matcha water. Stir and enjoy.

You can find out more information about Red Leaf Tea Products here: http://www.redleaftea.com/matcha-tea/white-matcha.html You can order your own White Matcha on Amazon.

3 Months and 3 Weeks Down and Garcinia Cambogia Giveaway

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

Weigh In: I lost 2.4 pounds for a total lost of 41.6 pounds.

Nutrition: I did well this week and keep to my calorie range. I ate lots of salads, fruits, and healthy lean meats. I also started taking Garcinia Cambogia before breakfast and dinner.

As recommend by Dr. Oz Garcinia Cambogia is an all natural ingredient that comes from a fruit and is said to be a fat buster. If works without having to diet or exercise. Of course I used this as an extra boost while I still ate right and exercised. While taking it I didn't feel any side affects and felt a little fuller than normal after my meals.

I took the Garcinia Cambogia from Life & Food. Their Garcinia Cambogia is one of the best because it has an upgraded strength of 800mg instead of the normal 500mg and free of contaminants, fillers, binders, or toxins. You can find out more about their Garcinia Cambogia and other products on their website. You can also order it on http://www.amazon.com/Potassium-Clinically-Suppressent-Artificial-Ingredients/dp/B00BBSPMIU/.

Fitness:
I went to the gym three times this week and did two good walks. Instead of taping my little interval hill workout onto the treadmill I used the treadmill's hill feature which was cool because I didn't have to look at my little list to manually change the incline. I got to just listen to my music and let the machine do the work.  I also did my resistance band and ab floor workout three times. I started the 30 day plank challenge on Thursday and am doing better than expected on it. I did try the couch to 5k on Tuesday but was definitely not ready as my feet almost cramped up. I will try again after I lose another 20 pounds.

Last weeks goals:
  • Go to the gym at least 3 times + a long walk (or exercise video) - GOAL MET
  • Resistance Band workout 3 times - GOAL MET
  • Start Plank Challenge - GOAL MET
  • Start Couch to 5k Challenge - GOAL MET (tried but will postpone after 20 pounds more loss)
  • Stay within a 1400-1700 calorie range - GOAL MET
  • Limit white processed carbs. - GOAL MET
I am pretty proud that I met all my goals for the week!! Go me! :)

This weeks goals:
  • Go to the gym at least 3 times + a long walk (or exercise video)
  • Resistance Band workout 3 times
  • Continue Plank Challenge
  • Try the Arc Trainer
  • Jillian Michael's Detox Water
