It's nice when my husband and I are on the same page with our weight loss journey because we are very supportive and motivating to each other. We have a trip to the Poconos in a couple of weeks and a trip to Texas in a month so we are really motivated to lose weight. We both have our short term goals set and we are kind of in a contest to see who meets it first.
I did really well with my Keto eating plan and kept within my macros. I made a lot of things we normally eat lower carb like mashed "potatoes" and "mac" and cheese. It was fun creating and experimenting with new recipes. Some worked and some didn't so I will have to research more on these recipes. I was kind of craving something sweet so I am glad I found the Keto Chocolate Mug Cake from Ruled.Me
Cutting out the carbs and sugar has really given me a lot of energy. I have been cleaning like crazy so I know I am well into my journey again. It was rainy all week so I pretty much stayed indoors. I didn't get to start the 28-Day Home Workout Challenge on Monday like I orignally planned. I did start on Sunday which is better late than never. I am going to try really hard to complete it without missing any days. I printed out the challenge and laminated it to put it on my Weight Loss Command Center.

What an awesome start, Michelle! I really love the idea of a command center! It's a great way to keep you focused on success!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you are doing an amazing job. I try to eat a salad every day to keep carbs lower. Can't wait to see how you do with next week.
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome! I am working on losing weight right now and it has been a little killer!
ReplyDeleteThis is a really great idea. Displaying your progress this way could really be a great motivator.
ReplyDeleteI've never tried to challenge myself, you did a great job you're very amazing, you inspire me to push my workout.
ReplyDeleteA weight loss command center is a great idea to keep all of your stats in one place, as well as a motivator to keep going when you might not feel like it. I could use a little station like this. I don't have many go-to low-card recipes, but if you ever need some low sodium recipes, I am your woman, since my husband was diagnosed with high blood pressure and has since adopted a low sodium diet.
