Weight: I loss 1 pound for a total of 54.4 pounds lost. Seven months in and I thought I would be a lot further into my weight loss journey. Now that summer is over it is time to get serious and be the weight loss maven that I was when I started!
Nutrition: I didn't follow the Dr. Oz plan and ate out a few days. I became obsessed with Panera Bread this week and ate the pick two sandwich and salad a few times this week. I also cooked some healthy meals like the Teriyaki Salmon with Garlicky Zoodles (recipe to be posted tomorrow!). I didn't do so good at night when I kept snacking on some candy my daughter got at a birthday party.
Exercise: I got a cut on the bottom of my foot from wearing flip flops at the park so I couldn't make it to the gym. I did get some good walks and play time at the park with my daughter before the cut. I recently got a pedal exerciser on sale and started using it this week. I also hooked up my old Wii and got active with the boxing and tennis. Both things don't compare to going to the gym but I tried staying active.

Hey, you are still making progress and should be proud of yourself! I think increasing your fitbit step goal will help as well, especially because it will help you form a routine.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry about your foot - I hope it heals quickly. Just keep moving forward, it will all work out.
ReplyDeleteHey at least the idea and goal to get fit is on your TO DO list. Even if you slip up a few times at least it's on your mind and you are trying.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're staying active despite the setback...there are so many activities that can be done outside the gym to keep you fit! And I agree...the veggie sandwich with 1/2 greek salad is sooo good!
ReplyDeleteKeep up the hard work! You're making progress, you can do it!
ReplyDelete54 pounds is nothing to turn your nose up at. This is a new lifestyle therefore time is ot a factor. How you feel is. WAY TO GO!
ReplyDeleteGreat job! Keep it up!!
ReplyDeleteKeep at it, you are making progress. Even if you just play tennis on the Wii is better than nothing at all.
ReplyDeleteThere are claims in several forums I found that Dr. Oz' advice are really not working. These are bold statements made believable because of his popularity. Good to know that you're staying active at the gym.
ReplyDeleteIf you're going to do anything, DO NOT follow anything Dr. Oz says. 1 pound lost is 1 pound lost. it is a victory in your journey. Don't put yourself down and use it to push you forward!
ReplyDeleteKeep it up! It will pay off in the end!
ReplyDeleteIf you are loosing anything in a months time you are still making progress. Never give up remember we all have them weeks. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWeight loss is a journey sometimes we exceed our expectations and sometimes we struggle. Don't worry- you'll get there!

ReplyDeleteMy husband loves to eat out, so it's hard to stick to a diet here. BUT I know I could do it if I would be more motivated. The extra few pounds I've got from sitting at the computer too much are not making me very happy. ;) Good luck to you next week in meeting your goals!
