Anavita Wrinkle Cream Review

**I received the product below free for my review. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be a good fit for my readers. All opinions are 100% my own.

Now that I am in my mid 30's (yikes!) I notice wrinkles all the time. It probably doesn't help that in my teens and 20's I never moisturized my skin. Then being busy with work, then married life, then having a baby, I never took the time out to take care of my skin.

I just started becoming interested in face creams and beauty products so I am always on the lookout for something that can help reverse my lack of previous skin care. When I heard that Anavita Wrinkle Cream could work in as little as 12 weeks I had to try it.

The Anavita Wrinkle Cream is said to reduce the look of fine lines and deep wrinkles while firming and replenishing your skin to make it look noticeably younger. All you have to do is massage on the cream after cleansing your skin in the morning and again at night.
The Anavita Wrinkle Cream has a unique formula that stimulates the production of collagen and rebuilds the cellular matrix of the skin using three clinically proven ingredients - a super-absorbent form of hyaluronic acid, Argireline (5%), and Matrixyl - a combination that makes this anti-wrinkle cream for face and neck extraordinarily effective.
This first thing I noticed about the cream is how thick it was. All it took was a little scoop to go over my entire face. After massaging it into my skin it didn't feel heavy or oily. I love that you can use it morning, night and as a makeup base. The cream is paraben free, sulfate free, phthalate free and not tested on animals.

After using it for a few weeks I noticed a softness to my skin. My forehead wrinkles were slightly less pronounced and the wrinkles under my eyes looked smoother. I can't wait to see what my skin looks like after 12 weeks of use.

Super Easy Adult Shorts to Toddler Pajama Pants Upcycle

As you may have seen from my previous craft posts I love to upcycle discounted adult clothing into pajamas and play clothes that my daughter can wear at home. Every time I go shopping I check out the clearance sections and check out the cheap little gems I can turn into something wearable for my daughter.

A few days ago I hit the clearance section and found a pair of shorts for $1.99. They looked long enough to become long pants for my daughter so I quickly picked them up. As soon as I got home I folded them in half and placed them on top of my makeshift craft table (little wooden TV tray that my daughter decided to put stickers all over :)) and then took out a pair of toddler pants that fit my daughter well and folded them and placed them on top of the shorts. I was super pleased when they fit perfectly! I didn't have to sew a new hem or create a new waistband!

Then I carefully cut the inseam and sides of the pants along the toddler pants making sure to cut an extra 3/4" of an inch on each side.

Then all I did was sew down the sides of the pants using a 1/2" allowance. Lastly I sewed the inseam of the pants using a 1/2" allowance. That's it! I didn't have to bother with a hem or even get out some elastic to create a new waistline.

Low Carb No-Bake Cheesecake

I am a dessert lover so when I decided to try the Atkins and go low carb I know I needed to find some desserts that I could have while on the plan. The first couple of months I did the Atkins I relied on their bars to get my sweet fix. I have since moved on to creating low calorie desserts myself.

One of my favorite desserts is cheesecake! I love the no bake kind that is super soft and smooth. It can be kind of hard to bake the perfect cheesecake with ovens being so temperamental (at least mines is) so I have always loved the no bake kind.

I decided to put my new bag of xylitol natural sweetener to good use with this no bake low carb cheesecake. I also wanted some kind of crust and crunch so I decided to use these mixed nuts my husband got for Christmas instead of high carb graham crackers. All I did was crushed them, added some xylitol and cinnamon and a little bit of butter. It really added a nice little sweet and buttery crumb layer.

Because the granules of the xylitol are somewhat bigger than regular table sugar I decided to whiz it in my little Bella blender for a few seconds. It powdered up really nicely and made it super easy for me mix into the cream cheese.

Printable Recipe
Crust:
  • 1 tblsp mixed nuts
  • pinch cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Morning Pep Xylitol
  • 1 tsp softened butter
Cheesecake:
  • 1 ounce softened cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 tblsp Morning Pep Xylitol
  • 1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract
  1. Mix all of the crust ingredients very well and place in the bottom of a small glass jar or cup.
  2. Place xylitol in a small blender and blend for a few seconds until it is powdered.
  3. Using a hand mixer whip the heavy cream into a small bowl until it forms peaks.
  4. In a medium bowl place cream cheese, vanilla and xylitol and using a mixer, whip until it is creamy. Fold in the whipped cream.
  5. Spoon into jar on top of crust and enjoy!
