Weigh In: I loss 13 pounds for a total weight loss of 63.8 pounds. Though that sounds like a great weight loss it is definitely not the way I wanted to lose weight.
Monday: I did tons of walking with my sister and blew my FitBit numbers away. I have 4 friends who also have a FitBit so we get to compete and see how well we stack up against each other. Since my friends walk a lot I have always been in 4th place. Since finding this new love of walking and doing it with my sister I started coming in 2nd place everyday. My dear friend in first place runs 5k's and is now starting to run 10k's so I will leave the 1st place for him! :)
Tuesday: I went on a much needed date night with my husband. I had a veggie egg white omelet in the morning and just snacked on a little bit of fruit until we go to the theater. We were super early for the showing so we went out to a nearby arcade and walked around and played table hockey and the shooting basketball game. We shared a small popcorn and had some water. We then went out to a new barbecue restaurant. I made sure to watch my portions and not over do it.
Wednesday: I was all ready to go to the gym after a long hiatus but my babysitter fell through. I tried to stay as active as possible during the day but still didn't manage to hit my daily step goal. I got dressed and was ready as soon as my husband came home from work. Left him dinner ready and put him in charge of our daughter so I could hit my goal. I set out to walk a mile and come back. I was happy when I hit my goal and got the buzz from my FitBit.
Thursday-Sunday: I was hit with a super bad stomach virus. I have had stomach viruses before but nothing like this. I was either sleeping or in the bathroom all day. Saturday I felt a tiny bit better and Sunday I finally started feeling like myself again. I definitely have to make up Father's Day for my husband.
Goals: No real goals for this week. I am just working on getting better and 100%. I will continue to watch what I eat and be as active as my body allows.
Mmmmm I love the fideo soup. We make it all the time and I like mine with extra cilantro. I am also a tea lover, although it is mostly taking herbs and boiling them with cinnamon. I understand when things don't go the way we want them to, but you must recognize that you are quite an achiever and an inspiration to many!
