What To Do If TTC is Taking Longer Than Expected

Don't Stress Out: Right after I got married my husband and I decided to TTC. I remember it being a long process and family and friends telling me to not stress out about it. That was the last thing I wanted to hear but when we stopped stressing out, things got easier and I felt healthier. I remember my doctor saying that reducing stress could help increase blood flow to the uterus which would make a better environment for TTC.

Make TTC Fun: After a while of TTC our first it seemed like a job and chore instead of something we should enjoy. As soon as we started to relax and become romantic and understanding with each other, TTC became something we enjoyed looking forward to.

Doctor's Help: If you are in your 30's or have been trying to conceive for at least a year it may be time to seek help from a doctor. I felt that my regular GYN doctor was taking it too easy and passive and being in my early 30's I wanted to be more aggressive. I saw an amazing RE (Reproductive Endocrinologist) and she covered all the bases to help me conceive my daughter.

Basal Temperature and Ovulation Test Strips: You may be missing the perfect window to TTC. Taking your basal body temperature as soon as you wake up in the morning and charting it can show you the best days to try. Ovulation test strips takes all of the guess work out and tells you when you are in your prime for TTC.

Astroglide TTC Trying to Conceive™: Is a lubricant that has a special formula for couples TTC. Astroglide TTC™ has adjusted pH levels and a consistency similar to CM (cervical mucus) that makes it the perfect environment for sperm. It is so simple to use too with pre-filled disposable applicators that make it easy to apply.

With a retail price of $12.99, Astroglide TTC™ is the best value compared to any other competitor. It also comes in pre-filled applicators so its easy to use and less messy than the traditional kind.

How I Am Boosting My Chances of Conceiving Baby #2

Now that my little princess is officially 3 my husband and I have had the talk about baby #2. We both come from big families so we want to give her a sibling. My husband always wanted 3 or more children and I was always OK with 2. Since I am in my mid thirties and he is in his early forties we decided that the perfect time is now for baby #2.

We would always talk about having kids and what we would name them even as we were just dating. We got married and hoped for a honeymoon baby. Three years of struggle and then having to lose weight and getting some help we finally conceived our princess. Us both being older in age we don't have three years to do it so I am taking the following steps to boost my chances of having a baby very soon.

Losing Weight: Every single ailment I have I know stems from my weight. As soon as I lose some pounds my back stops hurting, I am more energetic, and overall happier. I have started this journey with my husband and I know that with every pound lost it helps our chances.

Nutrition: There are certain foods that you should increase and certain foods you should decrease if you are TTC. It is a good idea to eat a balanced diet and avoid excess saturated fat. Foods to increase are those high in antioxidants.

Exercise: Working out can decrease stress especially when you are trying and it doesn't happen. It can also help you gain energy and lose weight to go towards a healthier BMI.

Using Astroglide TTC Trying to Conceive™: Did you know that using some kinds of lubricant while TTC can hinder your chance of conceiving?  Astroglide TTC™ gives sperm a better chance of survival compared to regular lubricants . Sometimes being intimate with your partner while trying to conceive can be stressful so Astroglide TTC™ can help things continue smoothly.

With a retail price of $12.99, Astroglide TTC™ is the best value compared to any other competitor. It also comes in pre-filled applicators so its easy to use and less messy than the traditional kind.
