Weight: I lost 2 pounds for a total loss of 55.2 pounds. It was nice to see a loss after 2 weeks of gains and a week with a zero.
Nutrition: I made a lot of healthy choices and ate at home all week except for one day. I recreated a lot of my favorite high calorie foods like Chipotles, Buffalo "chicken" and chips. I got back into my cooking groove and got really creative.
Exercise: I went to the gym twice and did a Zumba DVD at my mom's house. My daughter had a blast watching me exercise and even tried the dance moves and floor work with me. I was pretty proud to be setting a good example. I did some strength training with free weights at home three times this week. I took my daughter out to the park several days this week and got her to stay out of the swings by running around with her in the little jungle gyms.
Last Weeks Goals:
- Gym 3 days or Exercise DVD - GOAL MET!
- Strength Training 3 days - GOAL MET!
- Restart Plank Challenge - GOAL MET!
- Yoga or Pilates 1 day
- Track calories and water
- 7 days of Diet-To-Go meals
- Gym 3 days or Exercise DVD
- Strength Training 3 days
- Continue Plank Challenge
- Yoga, Pilates or Stretching 1 day
Awesome progress! I have been working out for the past couple months and have been seeing awesome results in my own fitness. I have been trying to eat better but I find it hard sometimes.
ReplyDeleteI am wanting to try Zumba as well for my weekly exercise. It seems great to just dance and lose pounds away while you're having fun!
ReplyDeleteYoga and Pilates are LOVE. I used to not like them, but I was so amazed when I finally got to try both. I like how I feel so relaxed after a session and at the same time I get to tone my muscles.
ReplyDeleteIt's good that you've been eating at home. It helps you stay away from temptations, lol. Keep up the good work, Michelle.
Love the fact that you can follow your journey Michelle - keep it up!
ReplyDeleteI hate going to the gym, as I prefer to exercise outside. Whats your take on the gym? Are you still enjoying it?
I know a lot of people who sign up to gyms, only to quit after a few months!

ReplyDeleteYou go girl! That is amazing! What an inspiration you are! I wish I had that kind of discipline. I have such a hard time fitting in time to work out.....
ReplyDeletenow this is inspiring..keep it up :)
ReplyDeleteYou are doing great! I just recently joined the gym! I'm really stoked about it because of the free childcare I get for being a member. I have always tried work outs at home, but then the kids distract me so much, I never complete a routine, even if I get them involved in working out with me. So this is very exciting for me!!
ReplyDelete28 weeks!! Bet you feel great!!
