Weight Loss Journey: Week 18

I lost 0.1 pounds for a total weight loss of 44.8 pounds. I was a bit disappointed when I saw that I barely lost anything this week but then I looked at the scale and saw that I lost 0.8% of my body fat for a total of 7% since starting to exercise.  I am so happy and proud to say that I am entering 2016 being 44.3 lighter. I wish I would have found the ketogenic diet before August 31 but I will take 18 weeks of no cheat days and being lighter instead of heavier for the new year.

I stuck to my plan the entire week and was so well prepared. Always having a batch of oopsie rolls in the fridge makes it easy because you can do so many different things with them. I had a sweet tooth this week and made room for dessert after dinner. I had a nice high fat breakfast, some nuts and cheese for lunch and a nice hearty dinner. Then I ended my nights with a piece of chocolate, some left over cheesecake from Christmas or a nice cup of keto hot cocoa. I went to my mom's house for New Year's Eve and brought my own keto food. They had Chicken Cacciatore with pasta and bread. My husband and I had some delicious cheddar burgers on oopsie rolls.

I didn't start the Fe Fit Exercise program on Monday like I wanted to. I was so busy the whole week with the holidays and spending time with my family. I was planning to start exercising on the following Monday but decided to start on Saturday when the holidays were over. My extended family went back out of town and we got back into our normal routine. My husband got me a Wahoo Heart Rate Monitor so I decided to take it out and test it out. I did the starter/essentials DVD of the Fe Fit Exercise program on Saturday and Sunday. On Monday I started the Fe Fit 4 Day a Week program. It was nice getting back into a workout routine and I was surprised at how much I could do. Also having a new exercise gadget motivated me to exercise too.
