My #Inseperable Bond With My Mami

This is part of a sponsored campaign with DiMe Media and Coca-Cola. However, all opinions expressed are my own.

I feel incredibly lucky to have the mom that I have. My mom had me when she was twenty so I can remember her always being fun, energetic and being my playmate as well as my mom. She always made every holiday special by creating our own Easter baskets, Christmas Stockings and making our favorite dishes and cakes for our birthdays. She was also a SAHM until I went to High School so she was always around while being involved with the PTA and chaperoning all of my school trips.

When I had my daughter she was always there for me during the newborn years as a first time mom. I even stayed at her house the first two weeks of my daughter's life. It was so comforting to have my mom there whenever I felt overwhelmed as a new mom. Now that my daughter is a toddler and I feel more confident in my parenting skills, I can still depend on her to babysit whenever I need or to just come over and hang out with me and the toddler.

When I saw the amazing Video #Inseperable by Coca-Cola it brought tears my eyes. It was so cool to be able to click on the video and change from the child's perspective to the mother's perspective. Seeing it from the child's perspective reminded me of my childhood. Seeing it from the Mom's perspective makes me think about how I feel towards my daughter.

I bought some of those small cans of Coca-Cola and some snacks for my mom and I so we can watch our novelas while my husband takes the toddler out. There is nothing like seeing those overly dramatic Spanish soap operas with my mom. We both like to yell at the TV together.

Coca-Cola knows that the special bond between a mom and child is inseparable. That is why they are giving viewers in the U.S. and Puerto Rico the opportunity to call their mom anywhere in the world for three minutes. http://bit.ly/1IrVVeL

How is the bond between you and your mom or mom figure #Inseperable?
