Relish is a menu planning service that helps you plan weekly menus. You choose from a huge list of recipes for the week and they compile a list of ingredients you need for the recipes you are making. You can either print or email the list to yourself.
I have been using this service for about a month now and really like it. I was stuck in a rut of making the same few recipes each week. When we got tired of something we just ordered out. I wanted to venture out and try new recipes and Relish allowed me to do that.
They have a few subscription options to choose from.
After you subscribe and log in you can start choosing your recipes for the week. Every week they have a new set of recipes you can quickly pick from. You just drag and drop the recipes you like. You can also do a search for a specific category or ingredient like chicken.
After all your recipes are added you click on the shopping list button. It is also easy to look through the list to check items you already have. Once checked, it is removed from the list. I love how it organizes the items by grocery store aisle. That saves me a lot of time, by not having to go back and forth getting different ingredients. You can also add an ingredient you need that is not part of your menu like a can of tuna.
Overall I really like this service. If you are the menu planner in your family or are tired of cooking the same thing over and over this is for you. It also helps you save money by getting you prepared to cook at home instead of getting take-out or fast food.
What do you think about this service? Are there any tips you have for making menu planning easier?
