My Easy Morning Bathroom Routine That Leaves Time for a Morning Workout

This post is sponsored by Cottonelle, but my love for their fresh care flushable cleansing cloths is all my own!

I love to get my exercise in the morning and get it over with. The night before I have my gym clothes, gym shoes, heart rate monitor and gym bag all ready in the living room. I have my water bottle full with fresh water waiting for me in the fridge. I also purchased the Cottonelle® Flushable Cleansing Cloths and Clean Care toilet paper at CVS to get a fresh clean bum in the morning!

My daughter is the first one to actually get up so as soon as she wakes and calls for me my husband and I are up. I go and get her and put her on my bed with my husband and they cuddle for a bit while I go to the bathroom. I sit and do my business then I use the Cottonelle® Flushable Cleansing Cloths and Clean Care toilet paper for the wet + dry combination. Let me tell you I have just started using these products and will never go back. You feel really fresh after using them. We use wipes on babies after they do their business so why shouldn't adults be just as fresh?

Then I am off to the kitchen to cook my husband and daughter a fresh and healthy breakfast. I make my breakfast smoothie and sip on it while the breakfast is getting ready. I serve my husband and daughter their breakfast then I am off for a quick shower. I put on my exercise clothes, get my HRM on, get my water from the fridge dump it in my bag and try to sneak out before my daughter realizes I am gone. (She is in super mommy mode right now so just the sight of me putting on clothes makes her cry.)

I take a nice stroll to the gym and get myself pumped with my workout music which is usually the Zumba station I recently found on Pandora. Four blocks away and a flight of stairs up and off I go for 10 minutes on the Arc Trainer, 25 minutes on the elliptical and a 30 minute hill routine on the treadmill.

I truly believe that if you have your clothes and bag ready the night before and get your exercise in early you will just do it and get your exercise in. Procrastinating just gives you the time to come up with an excuse not to go.

When you shop for your Cottonelle® Flushable Cleansing Cloths and Clean Care toilet paper, be sure to head over to CVS like I did. And, you can save $1.50 just by downloading this exclusive CVS coupon.

  13. Wow... what a great routine to have. I love that you get ready for the day the night before. I was just talking to my girls about growing up in the Dominican Republic and using a letrine and how we are so blessed to have toilets and these soft products to enjoy in the bathroom. Flushable wipes are even better- so fresh!
