Weight Loss Journey: Week 23

I lost 2.4 pounds for a total weight loss of 52.4 pounds. So I started this week wanting to have a cheat meal. I have been disappointed in my weight loss numbers for the past few weeks so thought I could shock my body with a high carb meal. My sister was in town this weekend so I planned to go out to a restaurant on Friday night and have the meal then. We went shopping in the morning and I bought a few outfits that were on clearance. Even though they were a size too small I couldn't beat the price. I tried everything on when I got home, and to my amazement everything fit! I am size smaller than I thought and so happy! I decided not to cheat and trust the process for now. I am not saying I will never have a cheat meal, but just not now.

I am happy to say I stayed on plan the entire week. I cooked and ate at home for every meal except one. Since my sister, niece and nephew came over I treated everyone to some outside food. When I came home with the food I made my bulletproof coffee and was satisfied. Towards the end of the week my appetite lessened so I had bulletproof coffee for breakfast and bone broth for lunch. Then as my appetite grew I had a big dinner and then called it a night with no nighttime snacks. On Sunday I had so much energy that I baked for the whole week! I made pizza puffs, low carb biscuits and oopsie rolls. I still have a huge batch of bone broth in the freezer that I will be enjoying too.

Whenever my sister is in town we go out and take super long walks. Even though we talk almost every day on the phone we still have so much to say to each other when we see each other. We talk so much that I never notice how far we have walked. I continued with the FeFit Exercise Program and am really pleased at how fit I am feeling. There were a couple of days that I didn't feel like exercising but the calendar with exercise planned on it was staring at me and I just had to do it.

  • Take vitamins and probiotics.
  • Get in 7000 daily steps.
  • FeFit Exercise Program 4 times a week
  • One walk of at least 10,000 steps
  • Intermittent Fast with Bulletproof Coffee and Bone Broth for 3 days this week.

  1. You're doing so well, Michelle! I wouldn't have blamed you for having a cheat meal, but am so glad you decided against it because you have faith in the journey :)

  2. Sometimes inches come off without it showing on the scale and there is nothing wrong with that. Just keep in doing whatever it you are doing because it is working and you can stick to it.

  3. It sounds like shopping was a big motivator for keeping all the great work. Congrats! I have a hard time staying on track when I've got family in town.

  4. Good job!! Sticking with the plan is always a good idea. I've been stuck for a long time, but I also know I haven't been as deliberate about following the plan. How awesome to have a sister to take long walks with, too!
