Weight Loss Journey: Week 15

I lost 4.9 pounds for a total weight loss of 41 pounds.

Since we stayed home a lot this week it was really easy to menu plan to stay on plan. I cooked a lot of my favorite keto recipes and even experimented with some new ones. I have been doing intermittent fasting the entire week where I stop eating at 9PM and then don't eat until 1PM the next day. I made sure to fast for 16 hours and only eat within an 8 hour time frame. When you are doing keto and eat lots of fats to satiate yourself, you never feel hungry. I am still having trouble taking my vitamins, supplements and probiotics every day. Another big failure is my water intake. I really have to start drinking more water.

We were pretty low key this week and stayed home a lot. My husband wanted to just relax at home on his staycation so we did just that. We got a lot of Christmas shopping out of the way so we walked a lot while we did that. I took off my activity tracker to charge it and kept forgetting to put it back on so I am not sure how many steps I took this week. On Sunday I found this cool app for my android phone called FitNet. You do a workout and it keeps track of how well you do the moves with your camera! I am not sure how accurate the "biometric" system is but it was fun and different. I love that you can schedule your exercise for the week by picking different videos.

  • Take vitamins and probiotics.
  • Get in 8000 daily steps.
  • Strength training workouts at least 4 times this week.
  • Go to gym or exercise video at least 3 days this week.
  • Menu Plan with Groceries on hand with no shopping.

  1. I love reading about your progress! Apparently I fast just like you but I don't do it on purpose. I just seem to not be hungry from after dinner until about 1pm the next day.

  3. It's hard to get into the habit of keeping the tracker on when you're not used to it. Good luck with upping the water intake too!

  4. You had a great week! I wonder if the intermittent fasting would help me get to my goal. I would probably just eat a ton at 1 and ruin the whole thing.

  5. Hum--menu planning with no shopping? Well I hope you can accomplish that one. As for the vitamins and probiotics it is all too easy to forget-maybe a stick it note on your refrig door or cabinet. You probably did 8000 steps without realizing it when you went shopping. Keep up the great work!
